RAD framework

In spite of an apparent simplicity of development of user interface for a custom application, this process is known as quite a tedious task, and takes a considerable amount of time and resources.

Applications often look inconsistent and buggy (and behave in this fashion!). A same (from user’s point of view) bug may exist (and therefore should be fixed separately) in dozens of places.

Any developer is being confronted with these issues every day.

To address this generic problem, we have developed a special Framework – a set of core application classes – which reduces amount of time and resources spent on custom development, and improves the quality of the end-product.

You are filling the position of an HR manager in a competitive growing company. Your goal is to minimize time spending on the document management inside of the enterprise, and to maximize it on the quality candidate review and selection. Your essential tasks is to gather, process, store information about candidates and get it back quickly on demand.

Our company has developed a complex solution – a software application optimizing your time for effective document management while reviewing, managing and evolving your human resources. The application is customized to fit the IT industry requirements and is currently used internally by our company.

Our internal project with a hackneyed title Issue Tracker was initially planned as a test application based upon our RAD framework new Silverlight frontend. Nonetheless, it turned out to be used inside our company on internal projects as a convenient and functional tool.

This application is nothing more but a web-oriented bug-tracking system using advanced data presentation technologies thanks to the new platform from Microsoft which Silverlight is. This system is simple and comprehensive in structure (and quite easy in implementation thanks to our RAD framework!), it clearly demonstrated the potential of Silverlight as a platform for remote business applications with some desktop-class user interface – fast, responsive, having smooth and liquid animations and wide range of ways to present information effectively.

Evora AM is a CRM system for Asset Management companies.

Our CRM solution for Assets Management has a number of predefined main entities (Account, Contact, Prospect/Client, Manager/Vendor, Calendar, Task), and many secondary entities linked to the parent main entities. Relationship between a main entity and a different main entity or itself are Many-to-Many. Such flexibility is required to adequately capture the relationships in today’s businesses – consider how Accounts can be linked or aggregate with other Accounts in Family Offices; Contacts have connections with other Contacts; Tasks have intertwined nature in RFP process.
